Back from Baltimore and an intense second summer in the MFA program at MICA. School and the city were each challenging, and I’ve returned with plenty to think about in areas of both the issues of race and art making. I am so appreciative of the beautiful city of Seattle where I live, and do not take it for granted. Here are a few examples of what I dabbled with in the studio this summer.
